LIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL BY STUDENTS, FOR STUDENTS… AND EVERYONE ELSE!
Plugged Festival was first created by a group of students who wanted to share their love for live music and decided to organize a festival. By hanging “bands wanted” posters all over the university campus, they tried to get in touch with enthusiastic musicians. The first edition of the festival in 2013 turned out to be a great success, with many talented artists and an awesome audience.
In the last few years, Plugged Festival has evolved into the major music event of the TU/e. With a fresh and enthusiastic festival crew every year, Plugged Festival 2024 will undoubtedly be an absolute success again! The goal of Plugged Festival is to organize a free and accessible festival that provides an opportunity for young and talented (student) bands to reach a larger audience. This annual event, held at the Eindhoven University of Technology, typically attracts between two to three thousand visitors. Plugged Festival is organized by a committee within CHEOPS, the Study Association of the Built Environment, with the aim of making a meaningful impact on the campus.
