Yes! From the start, Plugged Festival has been free for everyone! The festival site has been fenced since 2022, but admission is still free.

Plugged Festival offers a stage for emerging and talented bands and artists with original music. Plugged tries to be innovative, which is why Plugged has a completely unique lineup every year. Curious who will be performing next edition? Keep an eye on our socials!

Yes! In addition to the festival annually organized in June, the organization behind Plugged also organizes other musical events. Recurring events are the Battle of the Bands, the Lineup Reveal in the Skybar!Underground and Winter Plugged at the TU Eindhoven winter market.

At Plugged Festival we work with festival tokens at the bar. You can get these at the coin booth. Please note: here you can only pay by card; we don’t accept cash. You don’t need tokens for merchandise; you can pay here by card.

Bags are not allowed on the festival site. There are no lockers on site. TU/e students and staff can store their bags in the lockers in the surrounding buildings. Eindhoven central station also has lockers available.

Yes. However, minors will receive an 18- wristband and are not allowed to order and consume alcoholic beverages.

In the event of bad weather, the festival can be moved to Forum, a covered outdoor location next to Koeveld. The unanimous decision to move the festival must be taken by the organization two days in advance. If this is the case, this will be communicated as best as possible via social media.

Drinks can be purchased at two designated locations within the festival grounds. Bringing your own beverages is not allowed. Any attempts to bring outside drinks will result in confiscation, and repeated attempts may lead to removal from the festival. But don’t worry: Tokens only cost 2 euros each!

Plugged Festival takes place on the TU/e campus; this is a smoke-free campus. We would like to point out that smoking is therefore not permitted. Smoking is only permitted off campus.

Plugged Festival is an event of study association CHEOPS. Every year, a group of around 15 students is committed to organizing this non-profit musical event. The group arranges everything that this event includes: acquisition, programming, decoration, and festival site and promotion. CHEOPS is the study association of the Department of the Built Environment of the TU/e. Click here for more information about CHEOPS.

All members of the crew are members of the CHEOPS study association. It is not possible to participate in the organization if you are not a member of this association. Are you a member? Registrations open every second week of the academic year. Keep an eye on the CHEOPS website to stay informed.

Since 2018, TU Eindhoven has been working with reusable cups; Plugged Festival has been using this system for years. From 2024, drinks during the final hour will no longer be served in disposable cups. More information about the cup ecosystem will follow. Furthermore, Plugged Festival does not make use of polluting generators and a large part of the food offering is vegetarian/vegan.
